Utah going to the dogs

So this is a quick post. I am so mad right now, it seems as if our state government works more for special interests than the general populace. People pay so much attention to what is happening in Washington but your local government is where the rubber meets the road. It seems that a lack of a true two party system in Utah is really screwing everybody. Example of this is the new public records changes that makes text messages sent and received by law makers exempt from public record laws. If we pay the phone bills shouldn't we know whats going on. Check out stop477.org or stop477.com. It is so sad that this is the last resort for the people of Utah to secure open and honest government. We need to show our legislature that we the sheeple of Utah are paying attention. Oh 1 more thing Gov. Herbert has shown that there are no more checks and balances. It is bad enough that he was caught last year with this http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=12614651&nid=148 , by not vetoing HB477 he show that he has no real backbone and is a typical career politician. It used to be that only 65,000 signatures were required to protest an action by the legislature but now as of this year a full 95,000 are required. A Little Upgrade

So I bought more piping to redesign the sawdust cannons outflow. It seemed a little sluggish shooting stuff in the air. I haven't tried this but I think that it will speed the air delivery up by 255%. Hopefully it translates to a bigger fire ball. Test video coming soon.

I am exhausted

Today Sam and I got to work on some of the things we bought at the junk store (NPS). I say junk store cause it isn't like you can always find what you want but they have tons of miscellaneous stuff and you need to bring a tape measure to find out what will work for you. We bought new piping for the Sawdust Cannon, and a muffler. It is a dual outflow muffler. I cut the pipes on my truck and got a tail pipe out of the junk yard and tried to get it all to fit. I think it worked pretty well. It sure sounds nice. I have posted three videos one of the Stock exhaust which is 16 years old. One after we cut the existing muffler off. The last one shows the new exhaust. I still have a few cuts to make to even up the tail pipes. I am into this exhaust system $26. Pretty good deal.
